When the Republic Clothing Company was established, in February 2025, it had not been over 160 years since the end of government sanctioned slavery. It has not been since the civil rights movement of the 60's and 70's that the African-American community has made any significant consistent noise as a people.

The Republic Clothing Company was established to make a little noise. The designs used are to remind the African-American community and the world of the struggles that our ancestors faced as well as some unknown and forgotten historical facts.
